Yes. The ceremony takes place in or by the castle, and immediately afterwards you board in the harbour of Muiden. From there you sail out onto the IJmeer for dinner and the evening.

From the Oosterdok it is about 90 minutes to Muiden. Many couples therefore have their guests arrive by classic coach or transfer boat, and sail the finest leg themselves.

From an intimate party of twenty guests on a historic classic sailing ship to well over a hundred guests spread across several vessels sailing out together.

Yes. Pampus is UNESCO World Heritage and offers ceremony settings in the vaults and on the fort deck. The island is reachable only by water, so your entire party arrives by boat.

On the same vessel, or by transfer boat from Muiden or IJburg. We plan boarding times so that everyone arrives together.

The last departure is planned in consultation with the island. A sparkler exit on the jetty and a late sail back across the IJmeer round off the evening.

The island is small and a protected nature reserve, which makes it ideally suited to an intimate wedding with a select party and dinner in the glasshouse.

We generally keep the party smaller here. For larger groups, guests remain on board and the island is used only for the ceremony and photographs.

The vessel is always your covered base. The ceremony and dinner simply move to the salon or the glasshouse, without changing the programme.

The dike village lies twenty minutes' sail from Amsterdam yet feels like open countryside. The wooden houses and the dike give portraits a stillness you will not find in the city.

Larger vessels moor at Durgerdam's harbour or stand off the coast with a tender. We match the mooring point to the vessel you choose.

Yes, this is the most popular route: an aperitif by the dike, then out onto the IJmeer or Markermeer for dinner as the sun sets.

Yes. The beach lies right by the boarding point, there is space ashore, and we arrange childcare so parents can enjoy dinner without worry.

IJburg is the closest boarding point to Pampus: about thirty minutes' sail across the IJmeer.

That is a popular set-up: beach drinks on arrival, then sailing out for dinner as the sun goes down.

The IJ is a working waterway with ferries and cruise ships. Our captains plan the route and photo stops so you notice none of it.

Yes. We reserve a block of rooms at a waterside hotel, including brunch the day after.

Yes. The ceremony can take place on board with a celebrant, or in a canal house from which you step straight onto the vessel outside the door.

A classic loop through the ring takes about 90 minutes. For a full day, we combine the canals with the IJ or the Amstel.

Not every vessel. Salon boats with a low profile sail the whole ring; taller vessels and sailing ships take the outer route. We choose the vessel to suit the route.

The Amstel is wide and calm, lined with country estates and meadows. Ideal for a ceremony on the aft deck without onlookers along the bank.

About 60 minutes from the city to Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, with plenty of room en route for a ceremony and an aperitif.

Yes, at a country estate or a waterside restaurant. More often, dinner stays on board while you sail slowly back.

Yes. Historic country estates and tea pavilions line the Vecht, where the ceremony can take place with the vessel moored just in front.

Usually from Weesp or Muiden. From Amsterdam the sailing time is longer, so many couples have their guests board there instead.

A salon boat or a smaller classic launch sails the Vecht most comfortably; larger sailing ships remain on the IJmeer.
