A long linen table on board, three hours on the water, and the moment everyone knew was coming but no one could quite predict.

The experience
What does a wedding day on the water feel like?
There are couples who prefer the secret. And there are couples who want their parents to see it happen, their best friend seated beside them, their brother raising the first toast.
This format is for the second group. A saloon boat exclusively for your circle, dressed with a long linen table, ivory flowers and candles. Three hours on the water, somewhere between lunch and evening, or somewhere between dinner and night.
Everyone knows something is coming, or everyone but one. The direction is yours. Your wedding coordinator times the exact moment: at the champagne toast, during dessert, or quietly on a deserted canal between two courses.
After the yes: bubbles, tears, a long afternoon or evening on the water with the people who truly belong there. This is not a wedding. It is the first time it's said together, out loud, to the people who most want to hear it.

What do couples ask us most often?

Yes, guests often travel separately or board at a different jetty. Your wedding coordinator arranges this so it comes as a complete surprise.
What if we want everyone to know except one person?
That's the most commonly chosen format. Guests are briefed discreetly beforehand.
Can it also be in the afternoon?
Yes, a lunch cruise from 12:00 to 15:00 is just as popular as an evening cruise. The light is different, the mood more intimate.
What if it rains?
The saloon boat is fully enclosed and heated. The long table sits inside, candlelight reflected twice in the windows.
Is the saloon boat accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
With assistance, yes, via a gangway to the deck or saloon. Let your wedding coordinator know in advance.
Which location do we depart from?
We choose a jetty that suits your circle and the desired surprise effect, often central in the canal ring or along the Amstel.
How many months in advance should we book?
For 4 to 25 guests we recommend booking 3 to 6 months ahead, especially at weekends and in peak season.
What if the guest count still changes?
Up until a few weeks beforehand we adjust the table arrangement and catering numbers; the maximum of 25 guests at the long linen table remains fixed.
Availability
How far in advance should you book?
Peak Saturdays from May to September are typically booked twelve to eighteen months in advance. We accept a limited number of weddings per season.
